Predictive analytics for container inventory management, empty repositioning are areas of focus by eBMS. Similar predictive analysis for estimating customer demand based on historical structured as well as current unstrcutured data are being worked on in the Techonlogy Center of Excellence in eBMS
Using NLP (Natural language process) eBMS will be launching voice based Enquiry and Shipment tracking information, taking customer service to highly personalised levels.
For LCL logistics eBMS would also build models for Container stuffing optimization, Route optimization and cost optimization. With the high volumes of eCommerce and rise in LCL shipping, predicitive analystics would enable logistics service providers better control on their operation while freeing their team to focus on customer relationship and sales activiites.
